Torrevieja Travel Guide

Having spent 4 weeks in the bustling town of Torrevieja on the eastern Spanish coast, I can honestly say I fell in love. Only an hour south of Alicante, Torrevieja has a welcoming vibe, clean beaches and a wide esplanade with bars and restaurants. The town has many cool, quirky stores, lots of sports bars and a good selection of veggie food options. It’s also situated between 2 huge shopping centres so it’s great for a day of retail therapy. The weather is pretty ideal too, during our 4 week stay in Jan/Feb, it barely dipped below 15 degrees. It did snow once, but that just heightened the magic!

If you are ever visiting the Costa Blanca I would definitely recommend a trip to Torrevieja, be it a day out to the ‘Pink Lake‘, a stroll round the nightly ‘Hippie Market‘ or an afternoon chilling in ‘Green Dreams‘ it’s a town not to be missed.

Here are a few photos to get your wanderlust juices flowing…Enjoy
